The really big news is that Loaring Place B&B is No. 2 on Google's new Hotel Finder for the search terms "accommodation" and "hotel" in Margaret River, placing us on page one for the first time for these search terms, thanks to the great reviews we have received from our guests on Google Places. Diana Krall and Perth Symphony Orchestra to play at Leeuwin Estate 15, 16 Feb.

Australian trumpeter and Jazz virtuoso, James Morrison, will perform as a special guest and his post concert "Motown Revisited" show promises to keep guests in the main arena dancing until late.   The recipient of two Grammy Awards and eight Juno Awards, Diana Krall has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide. She has also earned nine gold, three platinum, and seven multi-platinum albums. Billboard magazine named her the second Jazz artist of the 2000-09 decade and she is the only jazz singer to have eight albums debuting at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. Cowslip Orchids

Lots of Cowslip orchid are up. Very few donkey orchids compared to last year. Several giant spider orchids that are flowering for the first time in at least 3 years

Kangaroo Paws

It is a great year for kangaroo paws with lots of them up around the B&B. Sean Blocksidge of Margaret River Discovery Tours took this lovely picture of a field of kangaroo paws. The rain that we have had has meant it is going to be (is now) a magnificent 2013 wildflower season.
