This is Steve from Bunbury Steam Laundry who delivers all the crisp linen for our rooms and takes it away, where it then goes to Perth for cleaning.

Corporate Accommodation

We are getting more reps staying with us as we become better known. They are wanting a more peaceful setting which they don't get from the B&Bs in town. They also like the wireless internet facility. For any reps wanting a corporate rate they should read the following.

Hi Marcus,

Confirming what I said this morning, we are happy to offer a corporate discount to any reps within your organisation.

All that is required is for them to book via the booking button on our website, where they can see the rates and availability.

They need then to complete the booking with their credit card at the prices shown. I process the payments manually, but if they write in the comments section “CORPORATE RATE REQUESTED” with their company name, I will deduct the discount before processing the payment.

I will be shortly instituting a surcharge for the different credit cards with an option for direct transfer. That will be shown in the Terms and Conditions on the Booking Button page. If an invoice is required with bank transfer details, that can also be requested.

Providore, Chocolate Factory and Gaby's Muesli Factory

Went to the Providore for lunch today. This is a restaurant on Harmans Road linked to the Coward & Black vineyard and also linked to the next door Margaret River Chocolate Factory. The restaurant has a garden attached to it and produces a range of condiments and olive oils as well.

I had an artichoke and potatoe pie with a lovely salad and Pam had a salad, both very good, as well as a bottle of their SSB 08 that was very refreshing. The setting amongst a vineyard was very peaceful and the service excellent.

The Chocolate Factory has recently been enlarged with an enourmous show room full of ...things made of chocolate - what else! You can stuff yourself silly on little buttons of chocolate tasters which makes you feel warm and generous so you immediately go a buy some chocolate for later or for a friend.

Gaby's nut and cerial factory makes toasted muesli that we serve for our guests. It is a very fresh and a lovely blend and I've arranged to get it wholesale which will be better for us as we have just been getting it from the supermarket before.
